I am an educator, writer, and consultant focused on digital and economic systems, platform incentives, and decision-making structures. My work examines how financial, technological, and social systems shape influence, access, and opportunity.
I started my career in entertainment, media, and tech, building some of the earliest digital engagement strategies for artists, brands, and platforms. I worked at Maverick Records, Warner Bros. Records, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), leading partnerships and helping develop products like Facebook Live, Creator Studio, and Instagram Stories. I also co-founded Archer Education, raising nearly $9 million in funding, and was an early employee at Rent.com, which was then acquired by eBay for $415 million. Now, I teach finance, management, and entrepreneurship as a faculty professor at California State University Dominguez Hills and consult on projects related to economic and community development, and education access. I'm interested in research that explores systems thinking, design thinking, and how we can rethink existing models to create more sustainable and equitable frameworks. At the core of everything I do (teaching, writing, and consulting), I focus on making knowledge more accessible and helping people understand the forces shaping their world. I am always open to conversations, collaborations, and research opportunities. Please feel free to connect. |
